Outpatient Primary Therapist

I specialize in working alongside adults and adolescents. I have experience working with to treat several issues including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, addiction, grief and loss, eating disorders, life transitions, relationship challenges/conflict, and trauma. I have been trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Christian Integration. I continue to learn more about somatic therapy and the important bi-directional relationship between the body and brain, and how trauma and early childhood experiences shape how we interpret and interact with our world.

Should you decide to work with me as your therapist, I aim to provide a non-judgmental, safe space for you to process, grow, and heal. I am down to earth, warm, welcoming, balanced, and naturally incorporate humor into the therapeutic process. I strongly believe in the power of relationship, authenticity, and presence, and will unconditionally and positively support you from day one. I genuinely believe there is no better investment of our time and energy than to invest in our own healing, for ourselves, but also for everyone in your life who will benefit from the ripple effect of you taking care of you. Vulnerability takes bravery, but there is no better way to create the life you desire for yourself than to allow old layers of self to shed that are no longer serving or supporting you and the person you are becoming. Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) with Concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities & Bachelor of Science (BS) in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities
