Dr. Scott Eilers worked at Water’s Edge from 2010 to 2014 as a student, and returned to Water’s Edge full-time after completing his education and his pre-doctoral internship. He is currently the lead therapist for the morning intensive outpatient program for depression, anxiety, and trauma, the lead therapist for the weekly depression and anxiety group, and the lead therapist for family education night. Dr. Eilers also works with individual clients and performs diagnostic assessment and bariatric assessments. He holds a doctorate of psychology degree from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. He has also completed the level 1 sensorimotor psychotherapy training for the treatment of trauma. Dr. Eilers typically works with individuals whose presenting issues include depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, and/or eating disorders. He is comfortable with the integration of Christian principles into psychotherapy if it is desired by the client.
